Task 2 - Health and Safety Procedures

Activities i have taken part in and identifying health and safety.

100 strangers
Problems: 
  1. People may not want their photograph being taken.

Solution:
  1. Ask them before you take the photograph
Architectural Photography
Problems:
  1. Could be stood in the road and cars may beep at you to get out of the way
  2. If travelling with a group round a place and your taking a photograph and the group keeps walking and you get left behind and can't find your group.
Solution:
  1. Always watch out for cars and try to be quick taking the photograph in case a car does come.
  2. Tell someone to stay with you and wait or tell your teacher that your taking a photograph so that they know where you are.
High Key
Problems:
  1. Could trip over the wires on the floor
  2.  Accidentally knock over a light 
  3. Could drop the camera
Solutions:
  1. Tape the loose wires to the floor or tell people when their going past the wires to be careful
  2. Don't act silly around the equipment or watch out where your walking to
  3. Put the camera strap around your neck to prevent it dropping
Low Key
Problems:
  1. Could fall over in the dark 
Solutions:
  1. After taking the photographs have the teacher turn the light on to prevent any casualties and have the teacher carry a torch incase they fall over.
Light Painting
Problems:
  1. The lights could blind people 
  2. Could trip over in the dark 
Solutions:
  1. Don't be silly with the lights or get dim torch lights
  2. Have the teacher carry a torch in case you want to move about
Macro
Problems:
  1. Trying to get a close up of something and not realising your too close that you bang your lens
Solutions:
  1. Keep looking back at the subject making sure your not too close to damage your lens
