Studio Photography/ Still Life Task 3

For my photo shoot i would like to do beauty photography because i like the wacky make up styles that the models have.

Some photographers i have researched for beauty photography are:

Claire Harrison:

I really like all of these images because it focus' on the make up and they look quite nice to reproduce these images. 

I like the angles of the images and how the whole of the models face isn't in view.

For studio lighting you can have different lighting settings depending on the type of photography your doing i think the main lighting technique is the three point lighting. Three point lighting is where you have - a key light placed at the side of the subjects face, -a fill light placed opposite the key light to soften shadows,

- a back light which is placed behind the subject.

But if you have a white backdrop or a black backdrop the third light behind is optional.

Danny Bond

We were told Danny Bond would be in Park Lane college on the 19th of October so we got our cameras and went to take lots of photographs of him for practice if we ever got a phone call telling us to go to a place and photograph somebody.

I edited most of the images just to make them darker using exposure and shadows not anything else, because i couldn't get the right lighting and most of them were bright.

This is an unedited image and i really like it because its a cute image.
